L'Artista Pizzeria Napoletana " Can Pastilla " — Restaurant in Palma

We walked past this place and were excited go try it, the place itself looks nice, the food looked good and presented well, but we were very disappointed,

On arrival we were greeted by a waitress who seemed nice, she offered us water, i asked if it was bottled or complimentary, I’m not about to spend 2-3 euro on a small bottle of water when i can buy 2 litres at the shop for 50cent, i said don’t worry i have some water in my bag, she told us we are not allowed to drink that here, first place i have had that happen to me,

the pasta was nice but after a few bites it was way too much, the flavours were overpowering and it was a bit sickly, the pizza was not good at all, it was falling apart, and i realised they had doused the pizza in olive oil, i wasn’t expecting so much olive oil, there were pools of it and it turned the bread to mush, i felt a bit sick afterwards, the waitress could see we did not enjoy our food, so she gave us limoncello shots… and sadly, they were kinda gross too,

So we left and went to the Chinese restaurant that is close buy, like 30 seconds walk, i tell you, luwei Chinese food is delicious, skip this place and head there, there are better...

We heard a lot of good stories about this restaurant and because we like pizza's we decided to go to the place and try it ourself. It was busy and we had to wait but that was fine. Nice weather and in the sun was totally relaxing. After 10 minutes we had a table and a nice lady took our order. The food was really good. What was left was put in a box for take away. So till now everything was perfect. Then we asked the bill by card. Because my wife wanted to treat she would pay it but had to go to the toilet. I didnt know how much she wanted to tip. The peice was 30,80 euro and i said 32,50euro. The rest would have been in cash but had to wait for my wife. But this was apperently to less for the guy waiter and charched us 35 euro without asking. When he left the table he took the receipt so i couldn't check but had the receipt of the machine. I asked the money back what was took extra and didn't left tip at all in the end. So long story short, we liked it verry much but the guy waiter wanted to rob us. Because of this we will not come back again and give one...

We dined in this restaurant as we were craving for some good food, and we came across this restaurant. It’s an Italian restaurant where you can order various foods - mostly pizza and pasta. It is located right in front of Can Pastilla beach, right next to loads of other shops and restaurants. It has an open space where you can pleasantly sit and breathe some sea breeze and relax whilst waiting for your order. However, as we arrived with no reservations, we were kindly offer to dine inside. The temperature was overall pleasant and the restaurant was clean, modern yet traditional. Despite being particularly packed, we merely waited for ten minutes after placing our order. We had a Regina Margherita and a dish of Carbonara and we left the restaurant completely satisfied; top-notch quality, friendly staff, reasonable prices despite being in an overcrowded area.

Highly recommended if you are looking for some good Italian food.
